The Berlin Football Championship 1924/25 was the fourteenth under the Brandenburg football championship discharged (VBB) Berlin Football Championship . The championship was held this season in two groups of ten teams each in a round-robin tournament with a return leg. The two group winners then played in the final of the Berlin soccer championship. In the end, Hertha BSC won the final against BFC Alemannia 90 and became Berlin soccer champions for the fourth time. With this victory, the club qualified for the German soccer championship 1924/25 . After victories over VfB Königsberg in the round of 16 and over TuRU Düsseldorf in the quarter-finals, Hertha BSC reached the semi-finals of the German football championship, which was lost 1-0 after extra time against FSV Frankfurt . Since this season, the Berlin runner-up was also qualified for the German soccer championship. However, BFC Alemannia was eliminated in the round of 16 after a 1: 2 defeat against Duisburg SpV .

    Decision game relegated

    The BFC Prussia protested against the game evaluation, so there were two play-offs for the second relegated team between Prussia and VfB Pankow . In the end Pankow lost and had to relegate, BFC Prussia was allowed to remain in the league.
