The Berliner football championship 1920-21 was the tenth under the Brandenburg football championship discharged (VBB) Berliner football championship . The championship was held this season in two groups of six teams each in a round-robin tournament in the return leg. The two group winners then played in the final of the Berlin soccer championship. In the end Vorwärts 90 Berlin was able to win the final against BFC Prussia , became Berlin soccer champions for the first time and qualified for the German soccer championship 1920/21 . After a 2-1 away win against Stettiner SC in the quarter-finals and a 2-1 win after extra time in the semifinals against Duisburg SpV , the Berlin team reached the final of the German soccer championship. In this final, which took place in Düsseldorf on June 12, 1921, Vorwärts 90 Berlin lost quite clearly with 0: 5 against 1. FC Nürnberg and became runner-up.

Similar to last season, there were first four circular leagues. Their winners, second and third placed, qualified for the Berlin Association League, in which the Berlin football championship was played. Unlike last year, the Berlin Cup winner was not given a starting place. This association league served from then on as the top Berlin football league. Since the number of participants was increased for the coming season, there were no relegations this season.
