List of the Berlin football champions of the VBB 1912–1933
The list of Berlin football champions of the VBB includes all champions of the Association of Brandenburg Ball Game Clubs (VBB) from 1911 to 1933. On April 29, 1911, the association of the Association of Berlin Ball Game Clubs (also VBB), Märkischer Fußball-Bund (MFB) and Association of Berlin Athletics Associations (VBAV), the Association of Brandenburg Ball Game Associations, founded. Before there were several soccer associations in Berlin, which also provided participants for the German soccer championship . With the merger, the athletic forces were bundled in Berlin. The first championship round organized by the VBB took place in 1911/12 . In August 1933 the association was dissolved.
The Berlin soccer championship of the VBB was played mainly in two groups, the winners of which played the Berlin soccer champions in final games. From the 1930/31 season , the Pomerania district, which previously played under the Baltic Sports Association , was included in the VBB. The three best Berlin clubs and the winner of the Pomeranian district now played the soccer champions in a final round.
Although clubs from Brandenburg and from 1930 onwards from Pomerania also played in VBB, they were never able to prevail against the strong Berlin clubs, so that all championship titles went to the capital. The Berlin soccer championship VBB was able to win the German soccer championship twice, and Berlin clubs were German runners-up six times. In 1933 the VBB was dissolved, instead of the Berlin soccer championship, the Gauliga Berlin-Brandenburg took over .

From the 1924/25 season, the Berlin runner-up was also qualified for the finals of the German soccer championship.
