China Auto Manufacturers

The China Auto Manufacture Co. (Pty.) Ltd. , in short CAM , CAM and in South African media also China Africa Motors , was a motor vehicle manufacturer founded on October 26, 2006 with headquarters in Springs , South Africa .

In 2012 the brand name CAM was given up. In November 2012 the company was taken over by the Beijing Automotive Group and transferred to the Beijing Automobile Works South Africa .

Models

CAM reported on July 5, 2007 that the Inyathi minibus was on offer.

As of February 3, 2009, the pick-ups Leo and Rhino with single and double cabins were also named.

As of July 26, 2009, the Rhino was missing on the website.

The last saved page in the internet archive from September 1, 2012 still listed Inyathi and Leo .
