The company invested 196 million rand to build a new plant . In 2015, around 160 employees produced 25 to 30 vehicles a day.
Initially, the BAW Inyathi was to be produced as a successor to the CAM Inyathi . The BAW Sasuka started in 2013 . Most of the vehicle parts come from Chinese production and are supplied as so-called semi knocked down kits.
