China Guangfa Bank (simplified Chinese: 广 发 银行; traditional Chinese: 廣 發 銀行; pinyin: Guǎng Fā Yínháng, short: CGB) is a commercial bank based in Guangzhou in the People's Republic of China . The bank was founded in September 1988 as Guangdong Development Bank (Simplified Chinese: 广东 发展 银行; Traditional Chinese: 廣東 發展 銀行; Pinyin: Guǎngdōng Fāzhǎn Yínháng).

CGB offers a wide range of financial services, including retail and corporate banking, asset management and advisory services. It has more than 500 offices in mainland China , Hong Kong and Macau . GDB is based in the Guangdong province on the border with Hong Kong and has total assets of 294.64 billion US dollars (2017), making it one of the 100 largest banks in the world. The network was comprised of 34 branches, 661 business offices, 114 small business banking centers and 13 smart banks in 71 cities in 16 provinces and autonomous regions. The bank has over 9 million e-banking customers, over 27 million credit cards and correspondent banking partnerships with 1,687 bank headquarters and their branches in more than 128 countries and regions.
