Chingford and Woodford Green is a constituency for the House of Commons in Greater London . The constituency was created in 1997 and is located in the London Borough of Waltham Forest and the London Borough of Redbridge . He sends a representative to parliament.

The constituency has been represented by members of the Conservative Party since 1997 .

In the 1997 general election , Iain Duncan Smith won the seat and has been a member of parliament ever since.
