Choimorski-Dazan "Bodhidharma"

The Khoimorsky-Dazan ( Russian Хойморский дацан) is a Dazan ( Buddhist monastery with a teaching facility) in the village of Arshan in Buryatia , Russia . It was founded in 1917 and closed again in 1927. The buildings were expropriated and put to other uses.

At the beginning of the 1990s, the Dazan was rebuilt near the place and was given the name " Bodhidharma ". Two stupas were built on its current site .
