Lake Cholamu (or Cho Lhamo or Tso Lhamo ) is a glacial lake in the eastern Himalayas in North Sikkim ( India ).

The mountain lake is located on the northern flank of the Dongkya group on the edge of the Tibetan plateau at an altitude of 5014  m . It has a water surface of 106 hectares and a circumference of 5.89 km. The lake is located north of the 5495  m high mountain pass Dongkya La and is considered one of the origins of the Lachen Chu , the right source river of the Tista . The lake is accessible via a road up the Lachen Chu river valley.

Due to its location in the border area with the People's Republic of China, the lake can only be visited with appropriate official permits.
