The Chongqing Olympic Sports Center is a sports facility with a 60,500-seat multi-purpose stadium in Chongqing , People's Republic of China . The first game in the stadium was a friendly between the Chinese and Lebanese national teams. The stadium is part of a large complex of sports facilities that was completed in 2004.
The sports center is currently the home stadium of Chongqing Lifan FC, which plays in the Chinese Super League . The owner of the entire building is Chongqing City.
The stadium is also a popular concert venue. Mariah Carey performed here on October 15, 2014.
