Choir (unit)

As a unit of mass, choir was a measure of salt in the Lüneburg salt pans .

1 choir = 4 tons = 24 bushels = 24 henites

As the measure of salt and grain was the dimensional chain

1 choir = 3 plaustra = 12 rump = 13 wispel = 52 tons

According to the North Albingian studies, the choir corresponded to the load . Half of the choir was the Mese or Wispel and was also used as a grain measure.
