The Chotdae Rock is a 15 m high cliff rock in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located directly in front of Narębski Point on King George Island .
South Korean scientists named it descriptively after its shape ( Korean 촛대 chotdae , German 'candle' ).
