Chris Broach
Christopher "Chris" Robert Broach (born September 5, 1976 in Madison , Wisconsin ) is an American musician.
Life
He was one of the guitarists and vocalists in the 1990s emo band Braid .
While he was a member of Braid, he started his side project The Firebird Suite . This became his main project after Braid's band split up and was called The Firebird Band from now on .
Chris Broach also played guitar for Life At Sea on the album "Is there a signal coming through?" and became the front man of the band L'Spaerow . This also released an album on the Lucid Records label founded by Chris Broach in 2002 .
He also worked repeatedly on solo material, including the 2010 EP Madison on Lucid Records.
Chris Broach and former Hey Mercedes guitarist (the follow-up band to Braid) Mike Schumaker are working together on a new project called The Blakhiv . In 2006 they released their first EP on Lucid Records.
Before Chris had great success as a guitarist for Braid, he was primarily a vocalist. In school he sang for the bands SacHead, Mondale and Seven Inch.
