Christa Reicher

Christa Reicher (* 1960 in Neuerburg , Rhineland-Palatinate ) is a German city ​​planner .

Life

After studying architecture at RWTH Aachen University and ETH Zurich , Reicher worked in various international planning offices and founded the RHA Reicher Haase Assoziierte planning office in 1993, based in Aachen , Dortmund and Vianden (Luxembourg).

From October 2002 to September 2018 Reicher was a professor and head of the urban development, urban design and land-use planning department at the spatial planning department of the Technical University of Dortmund . From 1998 to 2002 she held the professorship for urban development and design at the Bochum University of Applied Sciences .

Reicher has held the Chair of Urban Development and Design and Director of the Institute for Urban Development and European Urban Studies at the Faculty of Architecture at RWTH Aachen University since October 2018.
