Christian Fredrik Ytteborg

Christian Fredrik Ytteborg (* 1833 in Christiania , Norway ; † 1865 there ) was a Norwegian landscape and history painter from the Düsseldorf School .

Life

Ytteborg, son of the Norwegian brewery entrepreneur and member of parliament Nils Jensen Ytteborg (1792–1858) and his wife Ingeborg Marie Woxen (1797–1867), studied painting at the Düsseldorf Art Academy . There he attended Hans Fredrik Gude's landscape class . From 1856 to 1858 Ytteborg was a member of the Malkasten artists' association .
