Christian Josef Willenberg

Christian Josef Willenberg (born February 13, 1676 in Liegnitz , † February 1731 in Prague ) was a military engineer.

In 1707 he pushed through the establishment of the civil engineering school in Prague. It was the first technical school in Europe. The school began teaching in 1717. Willenberg was the first professor to teach there. He acquired his knowledge in France . Among the first twelve listeners were six from the nobility, four sons of knights and two commoners.
