Christian Rothe

Christian Rothe (* 1980 / 1981 ) is a former German football player .

career

Rothe had only played one year in the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns' junior team  when he made the leap into the club's men's team and thus into the top German division GFL . In 2011 and 2012 he became German champions with the Hallern team, and the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes were defeated in both finals . In 2014, 2015 and 2016 he was also in the final of the German championship with Schwäbisch Hall, but lost to the Braunschweig Lions . With the German national team, he won the European Championship in 2014.

In 2017 and 2018, the 1.93 meter tall Rothe , who was used in the offensive line , was once again German champion with Schwäbisch Hall. In October 2018, he ended his competitive sports career after 20 years. The club decided to no longer award the number 61 worn by Rothe on an honorary basis. He then became responsible for the offensive line in the coaching staff of the Hall team.
