Christian Weisenborn

Christian Weisenborn (* 1947 in Berlin ) is a German filmmaker .

Life

In 1948 his parents Joy and Günther Weisenborn moved with him and his brother Sebastian, born in 1946, out of the ruins of Berlin to Engelswies on Lake Constance; three years later they moved to Hamburg and from 1964 lived in West Berlin .

After school, Weisenborn began working as an assistant director and dramaturge at the Städtische Bühnen in Flensburg . Then he moved to Nuremberg . In 1970 he began studying at the Munich Film School with a focus on "Artistic Production on Television", which he completed in 1974. He then founded Nanuk film production , with which he specialized in documentaries.
