Christian von Schwarzburg-Sondershausen (* July 27, 1700 ; † September 28, 1749 ) carried the title of Prince of Schwarzburg-Sondershausen, but never ruled.

Life

Prince Christian was the son of Prince Christian Wilhelm von Schwarzburg-Sondershausen (1647–1720) and his wife Princess Wilhelmine Christiane (1658–1712), daughter of Duke Johann Ernst II of Saxe-Weimar .

Due to the numerous heirs, his father drew up the so-called inheritance and successions contract in 1713 , which included the primogeniture . Thus, as the youngest son, he never became the ruling prince after his father's death.

He was electoral Saxon and royal Polish lieutenant general and was at the court of Neustadt ad Orla.
