Christine Müller (mathematician)

Christine Hildegard Müller , née Scholz (born September 10, 1959 in Berlin ) is a German mathematician . She has been Professor of Statistics in Engineering at the Technical University of Dortmund since 2009 .

Career

Müller studied mathematics and biology at the Free University of Berlin from 1978 to 1984 , where she received her doctorate in mathematics in 1987 and qualified as a professor in 1995 . From May 1, 2000 to March 31, 2006 she was a professor in the mathematics department at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg . From April 1, 2006 to September 30, 2009 she was Professor of Mathematical Stochastics at the Department of Mathematics / Computer Science at the University of Kassel . Since October 1st, 2009 she has been Professor of Statistical Methods in Engineering at the Statistics Faculty of the Technical University of Dortmund.
