Christian Police Association (Austria)

The Christian Police Association Austria (CPV Austria) is a non-denominational aid organization and includes employees from all police units in the entire federal territory. It is based in Vienna.

Mission and goal

The CPV Austria would like

  • Promote and encourage employees of all police units in their Christian faith;
  • consolidate professional ethics in the police force in the spirit of Christian charity;
  • Offer support for colleagues in need and their relatives;
  • Maintain links with institutions with the same core values ​​and similar objectives;
  • Promote measures to protect human rights, conflict management and peacekeeping;
  • Improve relationships in line with basic Christian values.

membership

The CPV is a member of the International Christian Police Fellowship (ICPF), the international umbrella organization of national Christian police organizations. In German-speaking countries, she works closely with the Christian Police Association Germany and Switzerland .
