Christof Industries GmbH is a Styrian industrial company in the field of industrial plant and mechanical engineering based in Graz .
The company is active worldwide in the fields of energy and environmental technology, apparatus engineering, plant construction, construction and engineering of complex industrial plants and special machines. The managing director of Christof Industries is Johann Christof .
history
The origins go back to 1966, when Johann Christof sen. the Rohrbau Graz GmbH. founded. This company went bankrupt in 1988 and Johann Christof jun. the J. Christof mbH In the following years, there were acquisitions and other start-ups, which in 2003 to Christof Holding AG were pooled. In 2015 there was a split following cross-generational differences. The Christof Holding AG conduct future Johann Christof senior and his second son, Stefan, Christof. The innovation-driven technology area was transformed into the independent Christof Industries industrial group under the leadership of Johann Christof jun. outsourced.
Shortly after the company was founded, Christof Industries took over the partially insolvent Upper Austrian industrial company FMT along with its daughters. In the course of a restructuring process and the establishment of a new company, FMT and its subcontractors were integrated into the group structure of Christof Industries.
