Christoph Gottschalk (politician)

Christoph Gottschalk (* 1977 in Kronberg im Taunus ) is a German politician.

Life

From 2003 to 2005 Gottschalk was an advisor to the then French Prime Minister Jean-Pierre Raffarin . At the age of 26 he was the first German to hold such a post. He held this office until Raffarin resigned in 2005 and is considered an expert on Franco-German relations.

Gottschalk studied at the Free University of Berlin , but interrupted his political science studies to work for the French Prime Minister.

Gottschalk is currently working as a headhunter at the personnel consultancy Russell Reynolds Associates. He lives in Hamburg .
