history

The Protestant Christians in Karlshuld received a so-called barn church for the first time in 1832. Today's sacred building, a hall church with a small roof turret , was built in 1846/47 and inaugurated on November 21, 1847 by Dean August Bomhard from Augsburg. The church is difficult to classify stylistically. The classical influence is likely to be the strongest, with a tendency towards historicism . The round windows and door arches speak in favor of the latter style . The nave of the church with its arched windows largely corresponds to Schinkel's normal church . In 1988 the church was expanded and renovated. The painting was returned to its original state.
