The Christ Church in Ostbevern is a whitewashed plastered building with brick elements and a black gable roof . The tower on a square plan contains a belfry . The parish is part of the joint Protestant parishes of Telgte and Westbevern .
history
At the end of the Second World War , numerous expellees were settled in the Catholic Ostbevern. Since most of the newcomers were Protestant Christians, the construction of a Protestant church at the end of the village on the Esch der Bever was allowed . The Christ Church was consecrated on November 8, 1956. A parish hall was added in 1998.
