Chrizz B. Reuer

Chrizz B. Reuer , actually Christian Breuer (born February 21, 1964 in Schwelm , North Rhine-Westphalia ) is a German freelance artist, theater actor and author.

Life

Christian Breuer studied theater, film and television studies in Cologne.

Breuer has been artistically active since the late 1980s and works as a freelance author and performance artist. He writes prose, poetry, travelogues, and rock and pop stories.

He often stages his texts as part of multimedia literary performance, also in cooperation with other literary and music artists. In addition to his own texts, he also recites from world literature, for example Edgar Allan Poe .

Breuer regularly moderated the radio program “Sparkling Casket”. A Cologne daily newspaper described him in a review of "Kurt Cobain's scratchy cardigan" as a "Cologne cult author".

  • Kulturnacht Solingen / reading by Edgar Allan Poe with the title: The real facts in the Valdemar case . The Solinger Bote wrote on April 27, 2015: "With a distinctive voice Chrizz B. Reuer [...] described in a gloomy and oppressive way the approaching death of someone suffering from consumption."
