Cicli Moser - also known as Moser Cicli - was an Italian bicycle manufacturer founded and operated in Trento by racing cyclist Francesco Moser .

history

Francesco Moser founded the Manufactur Cicli Moser at the end of his professional career in 1979. The company manufactured racing bikes and track bikes for cycling. The legendary model 'Francesco Moser 51.151' went into production in 1987 and is named after Moser's world hour record. Made from Columbus SLX , it was equipped with a Campagnolo Super Record gearshift.

Frame construction

At the beginning of the 1980s, Moser's frames were unique among the numerous Italian manufacturers. The frames were joined together with silver solder , which for the first time made socket-free processing possible and thus reduced the weight of the frame.

The sports scientist Antonio Dal Monte developed an aerodynamic track bike, which was later built by Cicli Moser with slight modifications .
