Cihangir Gümüştürkmen

Cihangir Gümüştürkmen alias Lale Lokum (* 1964 in Izmir ) is a German-Turkish dancer, actor, comedian, travesty artist, playwright, sculptor, painter, comic artist, costume designer and producer. He lives in Berlin .

Act

In the Berlin scene he appears in various projects, some of his own, including his comedy solo One Görl Show (from 2003). The cabaret Salon Oriental, which he founded together with Fatma Souad , had already attracted attention . As a dancer he has also been seen in international show productions. He is considered a pioneer within the oriental dance variety.

He also works as an actor. In the Hebbel am Ufer Theater , for example, Cihangir played under Nurkan Erpulat . As one of the main characters in the cult film Lola and Bilidikid (1999) by Kutluğ Ataman , Cihangir also achieved international cinema fame.

Cihangir's comic "Lale Lokum & Fatma Souad" has been published in Tanz Oriental magazine since February 2006 .

In 2005 Cihangir presented his first music CD Cihangir's Black Bird , followed in 2006 by the dance DVD Belly Dance with Cihangir.

Cihangir has lived in Germany since 1976.
