Cinderella Rockefella is a pop song written in 1967 by Mason Williams and Nancy Ames . He became internationally known for the version sung by Esther & Abi Ofarim . The piece became a number one hit in the Netherlands and the English charts after appearing on the show by Eamonn Andrews . The song reached number five in the German charts. It is designed as a love duet between Esther and Abi Ofarim with Dixieland elements.

The piece has been covered several times, including by the Carpenters and Kate Smith . Ivri Lider wrote a new version of the song for the film Walk on Water . Isabel Lincoln Elmer , a member of the Rockefeller family, named her autobiography Cinderella Rockefeller .
