Cinema Odéon

The Cinema Odéon is a former cinema in the center of the Portuguese capital Lisbon . It was built on Rua dos Condes in the municipality of Santo António according to plans by the architect Guilherme A. Soares and inaugurated on September 21, 1927.

The Odeon is the only venue in Lisbon whose architecture alludes to Art Déco . It offered space for around 900 spectators. The building has been falling into disrepair since its closure and has been for sale since the mid-1990s.
