The Classic Rock Society (CRS) is an English association for the promotion of Classic Rock , Progressive Rock and Folk Rock . The club was founded in Rotherham in 1991. He now has members all over the world. The association not only maintains relationships with rock greats such as Yes , Emerson, Lake & Palmer , Fish , Marillion and The Flower Kings , but also intensively promotes young up-and-coming bands. Promising new musicians are given the opportunity to perform in front of a large audience at numerous concerts together with well-known bands. The CRS also publishes a glossy magazine which is distributed to all members on a quarterly basis.

BOTY Awards

Every year in December, the CRS presents the Best Of The Year Awards (BOTY) at a concert in Rotherham. The awards are presented by well-known rock veterans, such as B. Fish , Carl Palmer ( Emerson, Lake and Palmer ) or John Helliwell ( Supertramp ).
