Claude Marie Dubufe
Claude Marie Paul Dubufe (* 1790 in Paris , † April 24, 1864 in La Celle-Saint-Cloud ) was a French painter.
Life
In 1810 he made his salon debut with a painting that is now considered lost. On the other hand, his painting Apollo and Cyparissus from 1820, which is exhibited in the Musée Calvet in Avignon, has survived . Also among his works is a painting interpretation of John Milton's poem Paradise Lost .
His son, Édouard Dubufe , also became a painter.
