Claudius Epaphroditus Claudianus
Claudius Epaphroditus Claudianus (his prenomen is not known) was a member of the Roman knighthood ( Eques ) living in the 3rd century AD .
A dedicatory inscription that was found at the Longovicium fort and which is dated to 238/300, shows that Claudianus was the tribune of the Cohors I Lingonum , who was stationed in the province of Britannia at that time .
