Waldgeist (born February 17, 2014 ) is a racehorse that won the Prix ​​de l'Arc de Triomphe in 2019 . The chestnut stallion was bred by The Waldlerche Partnership in Great Britain. His father is Galileo , his mother forest lark from Monsun. Waldgeist is one of the most successful English thoroughbreds from the famous W line from German breeding. Waldgeist's great-grandmother is a litter pigeon from the Ravensberg stud. Waldgeist was trained by André Fabre and has been a stallion since 2020.
