Claus Günter Vogt (born August 12, 1969 in Nürtingen ) is a German football professional and entrepreneur.

Since December 2019 he has been President of VfB Stuttgart and Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the corporation of the same name. In 2017 Claus Vogt founded FC PlayFair! Association for Integrity in Professional Football V.

Career

After studying mechanical engineering and environmental protection technology, Claus Vogt took care of real estate management and maintenance work at Robert Bosch GmbH in Stuttgart. In 1996 he moved to Metro Wertstoff Circle Services GmbH, where he became Facility Manager Germany and assistant to the management.

After becoming Head of Facility Management International and later an authorized signatory, Claus Vogt founded the facility management company Intesia Group Holding GmbH in 2010 , which is represented by national companies in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy and France and employs almost 50 people.

In January 2017, Claus Vogt founded the association FC PlayFair !, which works across clubs for fan and club interests. After Vogt was elected President of VfB Stuttgart, he resigned as chairman of the association. Together with Cem Özdemir , Markus Hörwick and Urs Meier , he now forms the association's advisory board . One of the projects of FC PlayFair! is to have the football fan culture recognized by UNESCO as a cultural asset worthy of protection. The appropriate application was submitted in 2017 and 2019.

On December 15, 2019, Claus Vogt was elected president of the club at the general meeting of VfB Stuttgart. Thereupon Vogt also took over the chairmanship of the supervisory board at VfB Stuttgart 1893 AG.

Claus Vogt is married and has three children.
