Clearinghouse (medicine)

A clearinghouse or clearing procedure is understood to mean processed compilations of various (Internet) sources that are compiled as search aids for a specific subject or for several areas

Guideline clearing houses maintain registers of existing, e.g. In some cases, medical guidelines have been tested for methodological quality and / or the appropriateness of their content . In Germany there is such a clearing house at the Medical Center for Quality in Medicine .

There is now a clearinghouse for medical quality indicators in the USA .
