Click-to-call
Click-to-call ( CTC ) is a process that enables a telephone call to be initiated directly from a website. CTC links embedded in websites (for example [2] , click-to-dial ) are designed as hyperlinks for this purpose. A second variant dispenses with a formatted link, the cursor is placed in the text in a sequence of numbers to be selected, or a sequence of numbers is marked with the mouse, the call is then initiated with a right-click or by pressing the middle mouse button.
function
Clicking on a Click to Call link embedded in a website causes a web server (which also includes a local Fritz Box) to trigger a callback call to any telephone previously registered by the user for this service.
CTC on Google
Among other things, Google experimented with a CTC service, an Adsense integration was planned by Google . Google CTC calls were planned free of charge for the caller, but Google has now modified its Click to Call project. Details can now be found on a help page on Google AdWords .
Click-to-dial
Click to Dial is a dialing aid from AVM , which also works like Click to Call with a browser plug-in. Click to Dial is now an integral part of every firmware of the well-known Fritzbox .
