Clifton Sandvliet (born August 18, 1977 in Paramaribo ) is a former Surinamese football player.

Career

Sandvliet played for the National Army (SNL), SV Transvaal and the Walking Boyz Company . Sandvliet has won the SVB league's top scorer three times .

Sandvliet began his international career in the Surinamese national soccer team in 2000. He participated in the qualifying matches for the 2002, 2006 and 2010 World Cups. Here he made 14 games and scored 4 goals.

He was also a participant in the qualification and group stages of the Caribbean Nations Cup 2001 in Trinidad and Tobago . In this tournament he scored a goal in the 3-4 defeat against Cuba .
