Cocteau Cabinet

The Cocteau Cabinet was a private museum in the Swiss city ​​of Basel and was solely dedicated to the artist Jean Cocteau . It existed until 2005.

Cocteau was a very versatile representative of the avant-garde and became world-famous as a poet, novelist, playwright, essayist, illustrator and filmmaker. The museum presented books, autographs, drawings, glass and ceramics from his life and work.
