Coligranulomatosis of the chickens
The Coligranulomatose or Hjärre disease ( English : Hjärre disease ) is one having granulomas associated rare infectious disease of chickens and turkeys , caused by the bacterium Escherichia coli is caused.
etiology
Usually the pathogens are slimy coli strains. The O groups are usually 8, 9 or 16. Parasitic infestation of the intestine is a favoring factor.
clinic
The clinic is very atypical. Granulomas in the intestinal wall, liver and other organs are noticeable during dissection .
diagnosis
Bacteriological examination with typing.
Therapy and prophylaxis
Therapies do not promise success. As a preventive measure, we recommend eradicating the sick animals, treating the parasite infestation and taking hygiene measures.
