Colin Harrison

Colin Harrison (* 1960 in New York City ) is an American writer and editor.

Harrison writes thrillers and action novels, most of which are set in New York. His seventh novel, The Finder ( in the maw of the dragon , 2008) was for the Prize Dashiell Hammett nominated.

He attended Haverford College and the University of Iowa . From 1989 to 2001 he was an editor at Harper's Magazine ; since 2001 he has been an editor at the New York publisher Simon & Schuster . He lives with his wife, writer Kathryn Harrison , and their three children in Park Slope , a borough of Brooklyn , New York.

His novel Manhattan at Night was filmed in 2016 as Manhattan Nocturne .
