Colin Hood

Colin Hood (born June 24, 1961 in Northampton ) is an English expert in systems engineering . He is the author of books on requirements management . Colin Hood has been a Systems Engineer since 1985. He is co-founder of the International Requirements Engineering Board (IREB) and INCOSE member since 1999. Colin Hood is responsible for the drastic reduction of the effort in development projects in various fields of activity. In addition to improving requirements engineering, his specialty is supporting the change process when introducing new methods and tools.

Colin Hood studied management at graduate at the Brunel University and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Henley Management College .

He speaks English , German and French .

He has since 1977, the evolution of the control systems of relay-based systems via programmable logic controllers (Engl. Programmable Logic Controller, PLC), promoted to modern software-controlled systems. In various fields of activity, Colin Hood was responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, testing and delivery of complex software systems. He developed the HCM (HOOD Capability Model), with which the maturity level of an organization can be determined in relation to the application of methods and processes of requirements development and requirements management.
