Colin Nish (born March 7, 1981 in Edinburgh ) is a Scottish football player who has been under contract with Hartlepool United since June 2011 .

As a child, Nish was a fan of Hibernian Edinburgh, the club from his hometown, but his first stop in his professional career was in 1997 at Dunfermline Athletic . Twice it was awarded briefly in a row to Alloa Athletic and once to FC Clyde . In 2003 he switched to FC Kilmarnock . Initially, Nish struggled to assert himself in the top team , but after Kris Boyd left in 2005, Nish was finally able to establish himself in the first team. In October 2007 Nish was presented with a new contract offer from FC Kilmarnock, but he declined. In January 2008 he then moved to Hibernian Edinburgh . On February 9 of that year he made his debut for his new employer in a 1-1 draw against Dundee United . On February 13, he scored his first goal for the Hibs against FC Gretna .
