construction

The first building was built to a design from 1933 by architects Daniel and Lionel Brandon and Raoul Brandon. The first part of the work was completed in July 1937, but the building was not completed by Edouard Beugner until 1939. On the facade of the Collège there is a relief created by François Bazin in 1936 , depicting an allegory of teaching. In 2007 the building was renovated. In October 2013 there were 502 students from 20 nations in 20 classes at the Collège Louise-Michel. It houses bilingual sections with 25 students: English-German and English-Spanish.
