ChemPlusChem is a scientific journal published by Wiley-VCH-Verlag on behalf of ChemPubSoc Europe . The magazine was founded in 1929 by Emil Votoček and Jaroslav Heyrovský as the Collection of Czechoslovak Chemical Communications . It changed its name to ChemPlusChem in 2012 and is currently published twelve times a year. Works from all areas of chemistry are published, whereby care is taken that the topics touch at least two sub-areas of chemistry or one chemical and another sub-area.

The impact factor in 2014 was 2.997. According to the statistics of the ISI Web of Knowledge , the journal with this impact factor ranks 43rd out of 157 journals in the category of multidisciplinary chemistry .
