Combat Team Conference

The Combat Team Conference is the unofficial world championship for police and military special forces. It is from the GSG 9 aligned . It was founded in 1983 and only took place every two years and from 1995 every four years. The venue is Sankt Augustin .

history

It was initiated by Ulrich K. Wegener and Uwe Dee. In 1983 a total of 20 teams competed, 13 of them from Germany, three each from the USA and Switzerland and one from the Netherlands. In 2011, 41 teams took part.
