Host

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

An organizer is a natural person or a company who organizes an event and takes responsibility for it. “Organizer” also serves as a synonym for arranger , organizer or promoter .

In sports

In sport , an organizer is the one who organizes and ensures the implementation of the competition on site and takes care of the process as well as the infrastructure such as competition venues, personnel and advertising. The organizer can be a sports club , sports association or any other corporation or individual.

Acting as an organizer is part of the so-called association or club work. In some sports there is a rotation principle, which means that every sports club has to host a certain competition. They receive grants from the association. When it comes to staff, the association's own guidelines must be observed depending on the level; sometimes, for example, only the association's own referees are to be used.
