The Comité International Permanent des Études Mycéniennes ( CIPEM , English: Standing International Committee for Mycenian Studies ) is a UNESCO- affiliated institution for standardization in the field of Mycenology and related areas, founded in 1956 . Her subject matter is the non-alphabetic writing systems of the ancient Greek world, the Cretan hieroglyphs , Linear A and Linear B in the Aegean of the Bronze Age, and the Kypro-Minoan script and the Cypriot syllabary in the Bronze and Iron Ages in Cyprus .

She is responsible for organizing international colloquia on mycenaeology, thirteen of which have so far been held. The thirteenth took place in Paris in 2010 and the fourteenth in Copenhagen in 2015 .
