The classical Cypriot script is a syllabary script that was used from the 11th to the 3rd century BC. Was in use in Cyprus for the Cypriot dialect - part of the Arcadian-Cypriot dialect group of ancient Greek - and for the native Eeteokyprian language .

The classical Cypriot script was mostly written from right to left, but there are also some inscriptions that were written from left to right. It was already deciphered in the 19th century by George Smith .

The classical Cypriot script goes back to the Cypro-Minoan script or Old Kyprian linear script, which is very similar to the linear script A of Crete and probably dates back to the 15th century BC. Came to the island through contacts with Crete, possibly also with the Mycenaean Greeks.

The font is contained in Unicode in the block Cypriot script and is therefore standardized for use on computer systems.
