Computer Measurement Group

The Computer Measurement Group ( CMG ) was founded in 1974 and is a worldwide, non-commercial, manufacturer-independent organization . It consists of experts and companies who deal with the performance, management and measurement of computer systems. The annual conferences deal with system management as well as topics from the areas of capacity planning, reporting, accounting, network management and controlling.

The organization offers its members current and practical assistance in the area of ​​system management, conducts seminars and promotes the formation of networks. Various awards are presented at the annual conference, including a. the AA Michelson Award for outstanding professional, technical and inspirational contributions.

The organization consists of over 30 regional and international groups. The European organization is the Central European Computer Measurement Group (CECMG) founded in 1988.
